It will take you seven to eight hours to drive to Syabrubesi, where the adventure starts. The roadway winds its way north via picturesque scenes of cascading rivers, terraced farms, sleepy towns, and snow-capped mountains. It will be a wonderful drive if the sky is clear. You may see views of the never-ending green hills and Ganesh Himal as the route follows the Trishuli River. The route leads to the bustling town of Dhunche. Continuing, you will reach Syabrubesi, a town with several things to see and a hot spring beside the river where you may enjoy a bath.

After that, it takes around an hour to descend to Goljung Valley via the route. You will have lunch at Goljung Valley and then take a little rest. After that, you have three hours of trekking left to get to the stunning, traditional Tamang town of Gatlang. At Gatlang, you may explore the Parbati Kund and an old monastery.

Your journey will begin slowly and lead you through dense forests, mani walls, and several Chortens until you reach Chilime, which will take around two and a half hours. After approximately an hour and a half, you will cross a suspension bridge and ascend past the terrace farms to arrive at Gonggang Village. After lunch in Gonggang, you will take a trail that gradually ascends to Tatopani, which will take around two hours to arrive. You'll trek by a hot spring on route. You may take a natural bath in the hot springs if you'd like. Many think that taking a dip in these natural hot springs can heal them of all bodily aches and problems.
Day 4: Trek from Tatopani (2,610m / 8,565ft) to Thuman (2,340m / 7,665ft) via Nagthali (3,170m / 10,395ft) Trek Distance: 9.2km / 5.7miles. Altitude: 3,170m / 10,395ft. Trek Duration: 6 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Following breakfast in the early morning, you will resume your journey through the thick woods and woodlands, gradually ascending and descending a number of times. Approximately two hours of trekking will bring you to Brimdang. After then, the route takes two more hours to reach Nagthali Danda. While dining in Nagthali, you will be able to take in the views of the Tibetan Himal, Shishapangma (8,013m), Ganesh Himal (7,422m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m), and other snow-capped peaks. We can go to some of the smaller monasteries. The Tamang village of Thuman, which is designed in the Tibetan manner, is reached next.
Day 5: Trek from Thuman (2,340m / 7,665ft) to Briddim (2,230m / 7,320ft) Trek Distance: 14km / 8.6miles. Altitude: 2,340m / 7,665ft. Trek Duration: 5 - 6hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Today's goal is on the other side of the Bhote Koshi River, across the valley. After an easier part at the start, the path follows the historic trade route to Tibet down to Timure, where we make our lunch halt. Timure lies within an hour's walk from Rasuwaghadi, a historic fort near the border between Nepal and Tibet. We stay in a local home for a customarily distinct experience in Briddim, another Tamang town with Tibetan influences, after lunch on the path, which climbs steeply.
Day 6: Trek from Briddim (2,230m / 7,320ft) to Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft) Altitude: 2,470m / 8,103ft, Trek Duration: 6 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Traveling from Briddim to the Lama Hotel will take around six hours. As you traverse the Bhote Koshi valley, you will travel through several verdant forests dotted with birch and bamboo trees, terraced crops, and small towns. You may be able to see endangered species from the trail, such as red pandas. The path passes through Bamboo Village, situated along the banks of the Langtang River, then climbs gradually to Rimche (2,400m). After a while, you will come to the Lama Hotel, where we will spend the night.
Day 7: Trek from Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft) to Langtang village (3,430m / 11,255ft) Trek Distance: 14.8km / 9.1miles. Altitude: 3,430m / 11,255ft. Trek Duration: 6 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Breakfast first thing in the morning gets your day started. Following breakfast, you will trek along a verdant river valley and steadily rise while taking in views of snow-capped peaks. At Ghoda Tabela, the river valley abruptly widens (3,030m). In English, Goda Tabela is a horse barn.
We will be registering our permits in Ghoda Tabela. Previously, there was a Tibetan resettlement project operating in this area, but currently, there is an army check station. That being said, we shall hike past Chymki Village (3,230m) along a prayer flag-adorned route. The presence of prayer wheels, mani walls, water mills, and chortens—all visible from the trails—indicates the proximity to Langtang, a significant Tamang settlement.
Day 8: Trek from Langtang village (3,430m / 11,255ft) to Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m / 12,675ft) Trek Distance: 6.8km / 4.2miles. Altitude: 3,865m / 12,675ft. Trek Duration: 3 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
You'll hit the trails after breakfast and a hot cup of tea. The little plateaus, large mani walls, yak pastures, small settlements, and meadows will make today's walk quick, simple, and enjoyable. You will hike slowly because your journey will be upward, giving your body ample time to adjust. Soon after, you will come across water mills, prayer wheels, and sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions on them. It indicates that we have arrived at the ancient monastery of the Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa is a wonderful village in the Langtang region and sits surrounded by the stunning Himalayas.
Day 9: Exploration day at Kyanjin Gompa. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
You will be exploring this lovely village while you acclimate today. Trekkers may enjoy so much in this part of the valley. You will be treated to breathtaking vistas of the glaciers and Himalayan mountains because of the greater elevation. Kyangjin Gompa has several places that are well worth seeing. You will make your way back to Kyanjin Gompa for the night as the sun begins to set.
When you visit the Kyanjin Gompa monastery, you will be able to witness monks in prayer. The nearby cheese factory would be another fascinating place to explore. You may also decide to ascend to Langshisa Kharka and the Tserko Ri (5,450m) viewpoint. The highest peak of this walk, as seen from this vantage point, is Tserko Ri. Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Langtang II (6,586m), and a few other peaks are seen.
Day 10: Trek from Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m / 12,675ft) back to Lama Hotel (2,380m / 7808ft) Trek Distance: 21km / 13 miles. Altitude: 3,865m / 12,675ft. Trek Duration: 6 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
After taking in the final glimmers of the stunning mountains, which are looming large and majestic, from Kyangjin Gompa, we leave the valley. We take the same path back, passing via Langtang Village, and pause for lunch at Ghoda Tabela, where our exit will be recorded by the army checkpoint. Following a leisurely lunch, we descend to the Lama Hotel by way of the river valley's thick woodlands.
Day 11: Trek from Lama Hotel (2,380m / 7808ft) to Syabrubensi (1,503m / 4,655ft) Trek Distance: 11.3km / 7miles. Altitude: 2,470m / 8,103ft. Trek Duration: 5 hrs. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
Our journey to Syabrubensi will conclude with today's trekking. We are going to drive back to Kathmandu from Sybrubensi. You will descend as you stroll by the Langtang River. You'll get breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside as you drop through woods of birch and bamboo. The settlement of Syabrubensi, where we began the walk, will be reached after you cross the Bhote Koshi and Langtang rivers. The next morning, you will drive to Kathmandu.
Day 12: Drive from Syabrubensi (1,420m / 4,655ft) to Kathmandu (1400m / 4,393ft) Driving Hours: (122km / 75.8miles) 7-9 hrs.. Meal: Breakfast + Lunch
We will travel from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu, which should take seven or nine hours, after breakfast. You may take in breathtaking vistas of the Trishuli River Valley while driving this route.
