Tour overview
The Langtang valley and Gosaikunda trek is the best combination of one of the easier and more beautiful treks in Nepal, perfect for those who wish to explore mid-hills and high-altitude lakes to the remote and picturesque valley of Langtang in Nepal. The path takes you through lovely villages inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa people and offers a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of locals. The Gosaikunda area has been portrayed as a religious site where a huge number of devotees visit to worship the Hindu Deities. In particular, the Buddhist and Hindus devotees frequent the lake for holy ends while the others make a visit to see the beauty of nature. If you lack experience as a trekker, the Langtang valley and Gosaikunda trek can be a remarkable trek to get you started.
We’ll begin the journey from Syabru Besi, a scenic drive from the capital city (Kathmandu). The path goes through the pleasant Sherpa and Tamang community villages with stunning dazzling mountain views and flora and fauna, passing numerous temples, ancient monasteries, and typical towns along the way we have the last ascent to Lauribinayak Pass (4,609 m). You will enter a vast, mountainous terrain and be amazed to witness the beautiful landscapes of high peaks, lakes, and pasturelands unfolding before your eyes. The route leads through numerous Tibetan monasteries including the well-known Sing Gompa and Kyangjin Gompa. As you’ll continue the journey, clear vistas of the peaks of Manaslu (8156m ), Himal Chuli (7893m), Ganesh Himal (7406m), and several peaks of the Annapurna range will come into sight, offering a really unforgettable spectacle. Returning back to the trailhead the Gosaikunda trail takes off in the direction of the southeast and ascends steadily through terraced fields to wonderful highlands offering a dazzling view of distant mountains and the Tibetan plateau toward the north. The path then leads on to Gosaikunda and the sacred lake of Gosaikunda, a peaceful mountain vale that contributes even more to the magical views across to the distant Himalayan peaks.
